First group social in like… forever! Saying goodbye to Lewis our wonderful masters student and hello to the fabulous new Zahra. That’s 3 first year students and counting now… Was great to just spend time.
Lewis was done some great work investigating how ultraviolet radiation exposure from the sun changes host susceptibility to arbovirus infection.
Zahra is starting a new project that is combining our arbovirus expertise with oncolytic viruses to improve standard of care in liver cancer. Will keep you posted!
