Marleen van der Lann, a post-graduated student from the Univeristy of Groningen, started toady in the lab with VHIT. Pictured here with Georgi who is teaching her FACS staining. Marleen is super interested in mosquito-borne viruses and hopes to continue her studies with a PhD in this area one day. For the next 6 months she will be studying how mosquito-borne factors influence mammalian host susceptibility to arbovirus infection.
