VHIT attended the 17th UK Hepacivirus and Flavivirus Meeting in the beautiful Lake District this weekend. This small meeting provided a great chance to discuss work in an informal setting with leading virologists and associated experts, including Prof Eva Harris from Berkeley, who was the keynote speaker. We all had the chance to discover the beautiful countryside of the Lakes on the Saturday afternoon and stay up late in the pub chatting. It's rare to have the chance to network and make friends with colleagues in such an enjoyable way - we can't recommend this meeting enough!
